Mena Alexa Suvari, born 1979. She is an American fashion designer, model and actor. After beginning her career as a model, she moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's programs on television like Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as an actor in the film Nowhere. With her performances in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated receive an award called a BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned more attention from the public, she transitioned into bigger roles. The actress has appeared in the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) as well as the main character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun, a independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thrillers both prominent in her work. In addition, she was a part of the HBO series Six Feet Under. The series was a hit in 2004, and in 2005 the Screen Actors Guild awarded her the title of one of the best cast members.
