Anne Phung Nguyen

I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my incredible fiance JP as well as my extremely happy Dad Henry. Many people are familiar with me via my Instagram account @annephung, where I write about my experiences- the good, the bad and everything between. In 1990 I moved to America with my brothers and parents when I turned one and half. Without my parents' passion for perseverance and sacrifice without which I'm sure I wouldn't share my life. For the sake of giving them a chance at a more successful future, I set my sights on achieving success and put in the effort to get there. There was a specific plan for me for my life: university, get a job, marry, purchase the house, and then have children. My life that I planned to live was not as was actually. My corporate job in 2013 was something I dreaded. It was a place where money and status did not provide me with happiness. It was like I was living a solitary day to pay a salary. In 2013, I discovered my love was exercise. In addition, I was a fan of getting involved in social activities and giving back to others. It led me on one of my new paths and to the field of personal training. My business started in the year 2014 and I'm celebrating seven years of growth this year, 2021. For an Asian woman in the industry, it is rare to find us. As coach, my mission is to inspire others and empower them to live an active and healthy life by creating sustainable lifestyles tailored to the individual's preferences and requirements. Furthermore, I try to inspire others to pursue their ambitions and desires and achieve anything they would like to accomplish. My career began taking off at the time I was experiencing the most satisfaction in my entire life. But, my mom passed away just when my professional career started to slow off. She won her eight year battle with Scleroderma and now rests in Heaven along with me in my thoughts and heart at all times. Even if you can't see it initially, the universe is a way of giving us what we really require. My mother's death changed me so much and I am convinced that she offered me another chance to live my life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. She was able to start a new chapter in her life and I had my second shot at a happy, fulfilling life. In my 30's, I am alive and conscious I am truly aware that I am living the present and not just living the way I was in my past. In sharing my story I hope that my stories will be of interest to yours. It is my wish that my words can help people realize that they aren't in isolation. I believe that you are blessed with the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. It is my hope to live your the life you want to live and have your final days are not filled with regrets since that's the only thing that we can count on in our existence.
